Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail

The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail follows the exploratory route undertaken by Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, and the rest of their party as they traveled west from St. Louis to the Pacific Ocean, mostly along the Missouri and Columbia Rivers, from May 1804-September 1806. Not including sites with historical relevance to the expedition that stretch east to the Atlantic (also included on this list), the trail is roughly 3,700 miles long. This is a list of sites along the trail, from east to west.
