Metropolitan Opera Live in HD Series - Page 3

The Live in HD series are around 9 operas each year broadcast at cinemas from the Metropolitan Opera, a great (& affordable!) way to see classics from Mozart, Puccini, Wagner & Tchaikovsky, to more recent composers like John Adams & Tan Dun. I'd never seen a real opera before my BFF & his mother invited me to see the double bill of Mascagni's "Cavelleria Rusticana" & Leoncavallo's "Pagliaccci". I've seen a few more(including 1 during the summer repeats), & hope to see a few upcoming ones. The following are the individual operas performed & does not include different productions. I also didn't include "The Enchanted Island" as the music was not original but different pieces by different composers.
