Every time another musical comes out, I predict when will the film version will come out. Because it's only a matter of time until a stage musical gets adapted to the screen. With "Dear Evan Hansen" and "The Prom" it was so quickly adapted and now "The Color Purple", "Once On This Island" and "Matilda" are coming out.
