Movies Based on Dr. Seuss Books

Theodore Giesel, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss (pronounced SOO-se by kids and SOI-se by pedantic adults), has always been one-step away from Walt Disney-levels of Hollywood success. His work is timeless, wholly unique, easily recognizable, and appealing to all ages. However, his movies (adapted from his books or even written by him directly) have never achieved the same success (critically if not also commercially in some instances) on the big screen as other children's entertainment. At least when you adapt anything from the wubbly, wonderous world of Seuss, you're bound to make something memorable.
