Movies That Should've Won Best Picture - Page 3

These are my picks for what I think should've won Best Picture for every single Academy Awards. I do think the Academy has gotten it right quite a few times which is why you'll see some years unchanged. However, there have also been many snubs, most notably in 1941, 1998, and 2005. For many of my picks, I chose films based mainly on cultural significance and critical acclaim while also adding some of my personal favorites. For a lot of earlier years, I didn't know much about that year in film so I just stuck with the original winner. 1958 and 1963 were exceptions to this rule, because while I don't really know anything about those years, I refuse to believe that Gigi and Tom Jones were the best films for their respective years.
