For better or worse, movies with a title drop definitely stand tall amongst their peers at the cinema. Saying the name of the movie in the movie itself has the remarkable effect of either completely ripping you out of the moment (breaking the fourth, in a sense) or reinforcing in your mind how awesome it is that you're watching this particular movie.
