instead of watching Disney movies or really any animated movie with us, my mom introduced me and my sister to rom coms when we were pretty young.
Over the years we saw the movies she grew up watching (mostly Audrey Hepburn and Doris Day ones), fell in love with Hugh Grant and admired Meg Ryan - just like my mom had.
This list therefore concludes all the movies I come back to -even now as an adult- when I seek the comfort of being snuggled up to my mom for a movie night and listen to her gush about her teenage crush Rock Hudson.
