Nancy Mengouli's 20th Century Reading Callenge

Having passed most of my reading life randomly reading books that landed on my hands, I decided to make a research and chose one book from each year of the twentieth century, that I haven't - up to this day - read.
Thus I could add some purpose to my TBR list.
I chose them taking into account the author, the theme, the popularity and also the availability in my country (Greece).
I tend to prefer the titles and authors I've heard about and - preferably -I can find translated in Greek.
So, by no means is this a list of the best books of each year, as I have ommitted the once I have already read and the ones not published in Greece .
Book 1 is the one I chose for the year 1901, book 2 for 1902 etc.
I hope you like it and have fun!
