NOT the Manic Pixie Dream Girl (Part 2)

MPDG is a term established with a good intention to call out sexist character writing but was eventually misused so many times. Not every quirky or fun or inspiring female character is a MPGD. Here is a list of 10 movies with characters often mislabeled as a MPDG (Bringing Up Baby, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) or even designed specifically to deconstruct the trope (500 Days of Summer, Ruby Sparks).
