#Octabookchallenge -US Novels Post WWII Edition-

A reading challenge created by me for 2016. A selection of important American novels from the end of World War II in chronological order starting with JD Salingers's The Catcher in The Rye and finishing with Donna Tartt's The Goldfinch. The idea is to read two books every month (three, the first three months). If you want to do it with me, I will be uploading videos in my YouTube channel (Octavio Alonso) reviewing every book starting at the end of December. Please use the hashtag on social media so we can be in touch and comment. Happy Reading!
PS: In the list there are two non fiction books (In Cold Blood and A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius) which I think are worth including because of the importance of the writers and Lolita, that was published in France first but it was written in english and Nabokov gained the american citizen. You can still use the list excluding those three books, which will result in you just reading two books per month.
