Old School Classic and New Wave Science Fiction From James's Golden Age - Page 2

Harlan Ellison once said that the true "Golden Age of Science Fiction" was 12. He was not far wrong. From the time I was eleven to the time I was twenty-five (1962-1976) I was a complete SF junkie. Since then, I still have a great affection for the genre; I just no longer had that same lunatic glee. Fortunately, the SF from the mid 50s to the mid- 70s was some of the most innovative and interesting writing that the genre had ever seen. Here are some of the most fondly remembered books from my own "golden age".
