Peter J's Top 250 Films (June 2022) - Page 7

This is a list of my top 250 films listed in *very* rough chronological order. I completed this list for a poll conducted by HelenWelonmelon on Letterboxd. The poll seeks to develop a large list of the greatest films of all time by allowing participants to submit lists of 250 films. In contrast to polls conducted by Sight & Sound, the large number of films allows for a more complete picture of each participants' favorite films. It is worth noting that 250 films is not strict, you can submit as many or as few films as you would like. I decided to stick strictly to the 250 prescribed by HelenWelonmelon, but other have submitted lists that include close to 100 films as well as lists that include close to 1,000 films. It was a joy to pull the list together, as it allowed me the opportunity to reflect on the wonderful experiences the cinema has provided over the years.
