Postcards From the Shed - Page 3

Many years ago I had a real life old-fashioned snail mail pen pal. One of the recurring themes of our correspondence was making lists, particularly those involving travel and baseball. After we met in person we took a few trips together, but soon he became a globetrotting fool that I could only travel vicariously through. I saved the postcards (many were sports venues and personalities) that he sent to me. Over the years I received postcards from other friends and relatives and I even had a habit of sending them to myself documenting my travels. I kind of lost track of my old friend (who actually was my best man at my wedding) and postcards, like a lot of other pre-computer things have gone by the wayside. But a few days ago while rummaging through the storage shed looking for Christmas decorations I found a box full of wonderful memories.
