A continuation of my series of random sets of movies I've seen. And oh boy, the whiplash transitions are real. I got Act of Killing to Sgt. Bilko (disturbing and violent documentary to a goofy family-oriented comedy), and I also went from Park Chan-Wook's super violent Oldboy to Marc Forster's sensitive family drama Finding Neverland. Also, rest in peace, Julian McMahon and Gene Hackman, who've passed away since my last post of this series. It's cool to get a double serving of Kirsten Dunst and Kate Winslet movies here, as well as Dustin Hoffman, and also a few franchises make their debuts in this series (Monsterverse, Harry Potter, Hotel Transylvania, and Shrek), and I think this is also the first time a Marx Brothers film and a Guillermo del Toro film appears. Maybe I'm putting too much effort into this, but I enjoy making these lists for the fun of it.
