Halloween is a night full of fright and fun, especially for kids. Going trick-or-treating was always part of the excitement when I was young, especially when the result was a massive candy haul. Some houses offered up chocolate while others gave us non-chocolate sugary fare like Smarties, Nerds, or Twizzlers. Those folks who doled out raisins, apples, and the like, well, we won't talk about them. (To be clear, as an adult, you are well within your rights to keep the yummiest candy for yourself).
With a healthy array of sugary goodness to enjoy for the days and weeks after Halloween, picking and choosing which pieces of candy to eat when was a bit of a science. Was it about diving into your favorites first? Or slogging through candy you didn't like as much just to get to the really good stuff?
