Looking for a really long list of good books? Here's a new 1001 books list, with lots of good books in almost all genres, by a diverse range of authors. I went through the list of all the books I've marked as read on Goodreads, and included all the good ones on this list. I have not included ALL the books by each author, but for the most part if a book is part of a series, each book in that series is listed, roughly in order, and I included other books by each author that looked interesting. And, I only got partially through the Cs before I hit 1001, so there will be quite a few more lists like this one. I am just enough OCD to want to finish every series I start reading, as close to in order as possible, and if I can check off all of an author's books, that's even better. (Most of the Star Trek books are also on this list, but not all of them.)
