Richard Luck's Moviedrome Season

At its peak, the BBC's Moviedrome strand ran over three months and screened between 18 and 20 films. Were the strand to be revived today, these are the films I'd love to see air, some of which would I believe would play best as double-bills (see if you can figure out which would work best together). Please don't assume that inclusion means I love all of these pictures. I do, however, think all of them are - in some way or another - very Moviedrome.
