Are these my "favorite" books? Not really, because some of them I wouldn't recommend or want to read now, but they are books that made an impression. Most of them I loved and still love. Most I've read many times and could tell you a lot about. I selected one book per author, except for a few, usually my favorite of their works or the one that I read first that made me want to read all of their books. I'd love to see your list if you make one! It might remind me of titles I forgot to include.
