Sep TBR by D.K

Happy September! It was a stressful month of moving to a new apartment, but I did get slightly more reading done. Best book of the month was Haunted Castles by Ray Russell, who was the Playboy editor who bought all those Stephen King stories (if you remember the "I only read Playboy for the stories" joke). VERY gothic in the Romantic vein. I also really liked The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side by Agatha Christie. Looking forward to most: The Affirmation by Christopher Priest. I hope the next month finds you taking time to indulge in small joys. Life is hard enough without beating ourselves up over Pumpkin Spice Lattes (or the other deliciously excessive treat of your choice).
