After a long hiatus, a return to creating TBRs. I've been reading more again, and it's nice having a tidy TBR to refer back to, instead of trying to sort things out in the chaotic mess that is my ebook reader app. Best recent read: Bitter Sweet, LaVyrle Spencer. Gorgeous details, like, so good they broke me as a writer. A contemporary love story, rather than just a romance, about community and family as well as falling (back) in love. Looking forward to most: Home Fires, Gene Wolfe. I can't save a favorite (deceased) authors books forever. The opening already has me wrecked. My own stuff: coming soon, YOUR SOUFFLE MUST DIE, a cooking cozy-ish mystery. I think I'll post a list of my favorite cookbooks when I get YSMD live to celebrate.
