The first decade of the 21st Century! 9-11 and the War on Terror, the Bush years and some Obama. I had a steady job for the entire decade, though I mostly bought books that I intended to read at some point, rather than actually read. (I went back to college the next decade, but the textbooks were published this decade.) Lots of manga!
