Based on the same sources I used to create my Greatest Movies of All Time list; i.e., over 100 best film lists, and calculated using a simple point system to assign points to movies based on their ranking on each source's respective listings For non-ranked lists, I allocated points using an avg midpoint value for each film, weighing them equally. Lists included: 24/7 Wall St. (indexes Rotten Tomatoes & IMDB), Stacker (indexes IMDB & MetaScores), Schneider's 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, Top 1000 lists from Cinema Scene, Film Affinity, Films101, Halliwell, MUBI, the NY Times (Best Ever Made & Essential To See), Rate Your Music, TSPDT, Ultimate Movie Rankings, & The World's Best Films Blogspot, Brad Bourland's Movie List Top 1000, Brandon Xie's/ReelStats' Statistical Top 500, Dave's Movie Database, Empire, BBC, Business Insider/Metacritic, The Guardian, The Hollywood Reporter, Kinn and Piazza's The Greatest Movies Ever Book, Letterboxd, Rolling Stone, Sight & Sound/BFI, etc...
