Just because superheroes are having their moment on the silver screen right now doesn't mean we should forget those super-powered persons in fiction and literature. Sure, these people may not don capes and cowls, but they are all forces to be reckoned with.
Also, I excluded straight-up wizards, witches, and mythologically-powered people, otherwise we'd be here forever.
