House-bound in Sydney, I have made this list of quality books for your edification; the great majority are under 200 pages. For me it is a quick reference list of works to be (hopefully) read in the shorter term.
Most of the books are a subset of my various TBRs and general challenges, supplemented with many fine works from challenges published by others, especially those of Korrick. Several of my favourite authors are highlighted. Many of the books are dramatic works, with several having an acclaimed movie version.
BTW, the list image of Sydney Cove and the Sydney Harbour Bridge is of historical (pre-2020) interest only. No cruise ships allowed nowadays.
