"Fright Favorites" is a companion book to TCM's annual Halloween showings of Classic Horror movies. Written by film critic and historian David J. Skal, the book offers 31 essential Horror Movies(one for each day in October), plus a companion film for each of the main selections. In this list, the first 31 movies are the essential films, while 32-62 are the companion films, presented in the same order, so that the pairings are 1-32, 2-33, 3-34, and so on.
