The 10 Favorite Novels of High School Students in 1975

From The Mysterious Case of Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys (1998), by Carol Kismaric and Martin Heiferman. In a sidebar about the evolution of teen literature, they remark that "in 1975, the ten favorite novels of high school students were written for adults."
Actually, I think that nos. 2, 3, and 9 were definitely written for teens (#3 was written BY a teen). I thought #1 and #5 were, too, but I suppose being narrated by a teenager does not necessarily make it juvenile literature.
