This is not a be all end all list...most of these shows ended their run in color...that's fine...just wanted to make that clear...the important fact is that each show began its run in black and white...I tried to find shows where the majority of episodes were in black and white (ex: 'The Andy Griffith Show')...so pull out that old wooden tv set, prop up those rabbit ears, and tune out that static...we're going back to the future...well, not the movie per say...
*Note 1: Though there appears to be no rhyme or reason as to the order these shows were listed, there's actually a painstaking reason as to my method of madness...I ranked each show in order according to its IMDB rating ('Love And Marriage' was the lowest ranked show)...shows listed after that had no rating
*Note 2: I unintentionally did not include 'The People's Choice' (1955)...it should be right behind 'Private Secretary'...so I went over a tad...as Maxwell Smart would say: "Missed it by that much"
