Alternate endings are nothing new. After the release of "28 Years Later" on June 20, 2025, fans of the 2002 zombie movie "28 Days Later" compiled lists of the original movie's three alternate conclusions, two of which saw Cillian Murphy's Jim die in the film's final moments.
