The American Indian Youth Literature Awards - 2006 to 2020

The twelfth in a series of lists focusing on the winners of the many children's book awards of the American Library Association (ALA) and its many affiliates throughout the course of the first hundred years of the Newbery Medal. This time, it's the American Indian Youth Literature Awards, presented every two years starting in 2006 by the American Indian Library Association. It is awarded to "identify and honor the very best writing and illustrations by Native Americans and Indigenous peoples of North America."
