The Best Historical Films That Are Actually True to History According to "Standard News"

When films tend to say "Based on a true story," chances are not everything is going to be historically accurate. When it comes down to it, when putting down a story to paper, the reality of the situation isn't always that dramatic. If you try to translate that to the big screen, you might bore your audience to sleep. However, there are times when the real story is filled with amazing, dramatic intrigue. In those cases, as with these historical films, no major creative liberties need to be taken. These films aren't perfect, but they deliver some true historical accuracy.
