My favourite movie from every year starting from 1937 (the earliest year I can go back to without skipping a year - no 1936 movies as yet (or 1933)) going right up to 2019. I haven't seen that many movies for some of the earlier years, so this is very much subject to change, as is the 2019 pick (I've seen seven 2019 movies so far, all Netflix movies). There were some real close calls on some years about which movie I picked as well. I will post updates to this list in the event of at least ten of my selections changing.
