The Best Movies From Film Trilogies

The best movie (my opinion and no one else's) on what the best movie in a film trilogy is. Trilogies can be part of a larger franchise (like the MCU). They can have 'extra' movies released after three movies that work as a trilogy (Alien, for instance) or simply so many years later than the first three movies were long established as a trilogy (Scream, as one example). They can be thematic/loosely related only (Three Flavours Cornetto etc). They can't have a two part movie and still be a trilogy, as that's still four movies (so no Hunger Games etc). They also can't be series with three movies currently released when a fourth is actively planned (so while Iron Man and Captain America are okay, Thor is not). A couple of liberties were taken with a couple of trilogies when one movie has an extremely bad rep and very unlikely to surpass my chosen movie if I were to ever watch it.
