The Bibliophile's Great European Novels of the Last 100 Years - Page 3

This list is inspired by The Atlantic's recent list of, in their opinion, the Great American Novels. I've already published a list of what I believe the Great European Novels are, but with no time limit. This list, however, follows The Atlantic's criteria that the books must have been published within the last 100 years. I have 136 novels in this list, just like The Atlantic's list, but the one rule I imposed on myself, which The Atlantic didn't (which is fine - to each their own), is to allow an author only one entry on the list. I'm sure many will disagree with some of my choices, but what we love about reading is that we can all agree on how wonderful it is yet have completely different reading interests. Enjoy!
