The Big Picture: Visually Stunning Films Will Saw for the First Time in Theatres

There's nothing quite like that first time we enter into the world of a movie we've never seen before, especially in a dark theatre in front of an enormous screen! That's how I first saw all of these films, experiences made all the more amazing by their mind-blowing (and often, for their time, groundbreaking) visuals, whether it was state-of-the-art effects, sumptuous production design, or spectacular cinematography and editing. (With only three exceptions ["Gone With the Wind," "Dial 'M' for Murder," and "The Exorcist"], I saw them all in their initial releases.)
