The Ezra Klein Show: Book Recommendations - Page 16

I find this podcast a welcome harbour of sanity in the chaotic seas of American and world affairs. While highly American-centric, I feel the selection of works talked about on the show, written and recommended by interviewees, is helpful in navigating this increasingly confusing world we live in. Featured on episodes from 2021 to the present and includes novels and books on history and contemporary issues e.g politics, international relations, gender, race, AI, abortion, climate, child development, psychology et al. Also includes a few films, TV shows and music recommendations. Also recommended in each episode are articles, often from EK's paper, the New York Times (one of the most consistently informative newspapers still publishing).
If you like his podcast, also recommend The Rest is Politics and The Rest is History.
Times are challenging, but wilful ignorance is never the answer: stay informed.
