The Greatest Books: Expanded World Literature Challenge - Part A - Page 4

Here is an opportunity to assess how global and adventurous you are in your reading. This challenge is made up of additional works by many of the acclaimed authors on my recent well-received challenge "All the Greatest Fiction Books: Mark9528's Corrected Unabridged Version (By Author)". The latter featured the entire fiction list from 'thegreatestbooks.org' website.
Many, if not most, of these books have higher Goodreads average ratings than those on the greatestbooks.org master list! A large number are also more popular.
Here there is less emphasis on Anglo-American literature but there are still many works originally written in English. Some of the works in this list extend series that are started in the 'Greatest Fiction Books' challenge. Others are standalone books. I generally gave priority to Goodreads average rating (3.8+) over total ratings.
