This is "The Kindergarten Canon" by Michael J. Petrilli, published by the Fordham Institute in 2012. It is a list of the must-read picture books for preschoolers including the greatest classics, both old and new.
Note: For folk tales, fairy tales, and fables, you do not need to have read the specific book in the list. Any retelling is acceptable.
