The Last 100 Books Peggy Read

As the title states, this a list of the one hundred books I read last. I recommend the vast majority of these book.
I enjoyed all but three:
38. John Dies at the End by David Wong - Ugh! Horribly tedious writing. There was nothing to be said in 5 words that Wong couldn't say in 20.
67. Sing Backwards and Weep by Mark Lanegan - I chose the book because some reviews compared his writing to Bukowski. I am rolling my eyes at the comparison. I threw the book in the trash.
78. Doxology by Nell Zink - Zink is not a bad writer, per se, but this book feels very much like a first draft. Skip it.
