This is a list of essential literary works from 1910-1919. The focus is on the literary (artistic, poetic, creative, etc.), so I didn't include any nonfiction that wasn't to do with the creative process - so none of the political books and psychology texts that were around then. I also chose to emphasize female writers over male, since many of them are dismissed as writers for children or too popular to be good.
