One of the most interesting production companies in Hollywood; Lucasfilm was made out of one man's dream to not be tied to the studio system. George Lucas wanted the freedom to make his films his way, and after several long decades, he finally had that.
Now Lucasfilm is owned by Disney, one of the biggest Hollywood juggernauts out there.
