From MAD #231, June 1982. MAD awards golden "Alfies" to honor "films and stars who, because they do not fit the ordinary categories, might be overlooked during the regular Academy Awards." The categories include: "Kids' Movies That the Kids Couldn't Even See Because They Were Rated 'R' " (4-6), "Go Back to TV Where You Belong!" (8-10), "Most Tasteless Movie of the Year" (11-13), "Most Consistent Performance, Movie After Movie After Movie" (14-16), "Daring Do"(17-19), "Aging Bulls" (20-22), "So You Couldn't Leave Bad Enough Alone!" (23-25), and the Special Award for Movie with Absolutely No Redeeming Social Value (26).
