The Most Bitterly Disappointing Movies

You were so excited to see it. The critics seemed to wet themselves over it. You liked the book it was based on. It appears on many best of all time lists. Then you did see it. And it sucked. And if it didn't completely suck, it was at least bland and boring. And if it wasn't that either, it certainly didn't deserve the hype.
These are those movies. Not all the bad movies I've ever seen, just the ones I had high expectations for, which the movie then managed to shatter into a thousand pieces. It's not possible to be disappointed in a movie you had no expectations over.
