The Most Read Fiction Today?

It seems like these titles are the ones that most often keep popping up as "Read", even by people who aren't particularly interested in reading. Maybe it's school lists, or screen adaptations, or encouraged by family members, or just plain old enduring over time. Nothing scientific about this list, just my surface observations over time as a pattern-seeking animal. Could be totally off. What do you think about this list?
