Beige: "I'm tired of being called 'light brown' or 'dark tan' because I am neither. I am BEIGE and I am proud. I'm also tired of being second place to Mr. Brown Crayon".
Red: "We need to talk. Duncan's 'overworked friend,' Red, is worn out from year-long duties. I even work on holidays! I have to color all the Santas at Christmas and all the hearts on Valentine's day! I NEED A REST!".
Grey: "You're KILLING ME! I know you love elephants. And I know that elephants are grey... But that's a LOT of space to color in all by myself. And don't even get me started on your rhinos, hippos and HUMPBACK WHALES…".
Blue: "I have been great being Duncan's favorite color for oceans, lakes, rivers, raindrops, rainclouds, and clear skies for the past few years. However, I am now so short and stubby I can't see over the railing in the crayon box anymore and needs a break".
Pink: "Pink wants to be used more. It is not fair that Pink only gets used for less important things".
