A list of 50 video games that I consider to be some of my favorites, whether they're new or old, or if I've played them dozens of times or just once. These games left an impact on me and are ones that I remember fondly.
I've limited myself to only ONE game per franchise, otherwise the list would be bloated with Metal Gear, Silent Hill, and Doom titles. The factors I considered with this list are emotional impact, time spent playing, overall quality of the game, and probably a whole lot of nostalgia. Some of these games I've been playing since I could hold a controller, so expect some attachment to obscure games on here.
A few of these games I have recently discovered, so their overall ranking may be skewed based on my current hyper-fixated obsession with them, but it doesn't change the fact that they belong on this list.
