Having just posted a list of 300 women writers, I thought I'd post a list of my favorite contemporary women authors and the books of theirs that I've read and loved. Some of these are authors I've read for a long time, some are new to me. By contemporary I mean women who are have published within the last 25 years. (The only exception is Gloria Naylor.)
