To Read: A Catch-Up List Pt. 1

(Starting over from old copy, because I really desired a clean-up).
Wanting to keep the old brain fresh, I decided to catch up on a bit of missed reading, with a focus in the area of classic/influential lit (but some stuff that's less so). The overall list will likely grow bigger. Goal is to be significantly better read within two years.
(Ordered by author name.)
