A list of the top 100 songs of 2011, based on performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Rather than coming from a book or from Billboard's official year-end chart, the list here is one of my own creation: a simple ranking of songs that peaked on the chart in 2011, with songs that hit #1 listed first, then #2 songs, and #3 and so on; #1 and #2 songs are further ranked by the number of weeks a given song spent in those top positions. "We Found Love", the top song on this list, spent 10 weeks at #1, while the lowest-ranked song here, "Sure Thing", peaked at #36.
