Top 13 Horror Films of the '90s

In issue #100 of Fangoria (March 1991), writers chose 13 top horror films from each decade, from the 1930s and '40s to the '80s. In issue #200 (March 2001), Maitland McDonagh chose the 13 top horrors of the last decade of the twentieth century. The Silence of the Lambs and The Sixth Sense are not among them, although McDonagh gives them kudos for opening and closing the decade by bringing horror to the Oscars. He claims that Stir of Echoes (1999) "packed more skin-crawling atmosphere into its first 30 minutes than Sense did into its entire 107-minute running time." (It didn't make the list either, though.)
