You could call these "so-bad-it's good" or "so-bad-it's-bad" cult Italian and Filipino films of the post-apocalyptic genre produced during 1982 through 1988 that ripped off Hollywood films such as "The Warriors", "Escape from New York" and "The Road Warrior".
As a side note, there are others not included for their being non-Italian or Filipino films: Mad Max, Death Race 2000, Deathsport, Turkey Shoot, Battle Truck, Damnation Alley, Megaforce, Steel Dawn to name a few.
